Current membership and responsibilities

I took on the role of Parent Governor at the start of 2024 and serve as the Link Governor for Early Years. This new responsibility allows me to actively contribute to the development and success of our school's youngest learners.

Governor Experience

Whittington Primary is my first opportunity to be a governor. After recently moving to Whittington, my daughter started attending the school this year. This was one of the catalysts for me applying for the role, along with wanting to be more involved in the community.

Professional Experience

I hold a BTEC Diploma for IT Practitioners and a BSc (Hons) in Architectural Technology. Currently, I am employed as a Commercial/Operations Director. In this role, I oversee the commercial and operational aspects of the business, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently. My responsibilities include managing departments and departmental budgets, optimising operational workflows, and driving strategic initiatives to enhance business performance.

Personal Interests

We moved to the village in 2022 with our 9-month-old and 2-year-old. After living out in the sticks, we were looking for village life, and having two pubs, a café, multiple parks, and Chinese restaurants within walking distance is everything we wanted.

When I am not at work or renovating our house, I spend most of my time at parks and soft play with our son and daughter, but when possible, I enjoy track days/drifting and gaming to relax.
